Thompson scores in final minute to lift A-Devils

Paul Thompson's second goal of the game came on a shorthanded breakaway with 44.0 seconds remaining and lifted the Albany Devils to a 3-2 victory over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in front of 4,011 for the home opener at Times Union Center. It was Thompson's AHL-leading sixth goal of the season and improved Albany's record to 2-0-1.
