The 2014 gubernatorial race is nearly a duplicate of the one four years ago between Republican Tom Foley and Democrat Dannel P. Malloy, according to the latest Quinnipiac University Poll. For Malloy to win re-election, he may need a renewal of the huge turnout that President Barack Obama sparked in his Sunday appearance in Bridgeport two days before the 2010 election.
