A look of dread appeared on Jeffrey Schare's face as he sat with his hands folded at the defense table Friday at state Superior Court in Bridgeport. It wasn't dread because of a jail sentence he faced -- he's known for a month he would be going away for eight years for sexually assaulting two young Fairfield girls.
