A 51 year-old man killed during a fight in front of his Seeley Street home Saturday night was a "nice guy" who repaired bicycles for neighborhood teenagers, friends said Sunday Ivan Rodriguez Mendez, 51, was found dead Saturday evening in a pool of blood in the road in front of his Seeley Street apartment. The victim had either been stabbed or shot with a gun, police said early Sunday morning.
