Joey Philson, 23, of Bridgeport, was taken into custody after an early morning traffic stop Friday.

An officer patroling Kings Highway around 2:30 a.m. noticed a car stopped in the intersection near Berwick Avenue, with several people crowded around. The officer got out of his cruiser and began to walk toward the car, when it made a U-turn and drove away.
