As AHL shifts west, Sound Tigers focus on playoff bid

It's that time of year anyway, but Thursday was a day to look ahead, both for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers' short-term future on the ice and the AHL's long-term footprint. Bridgeport reassembled at the Wonderland of Ice after the all-star break to prepare for the second half, perhaps a little closer to getting an all-star defenseman back.
