Gun Control Opponents Fail To Scuttle Malloy Judicial Appointee

Legislators handily approved a former state representative's appointment as a Superior Court judge Friday, despite strong opposition from the NRA and other gun rights groups. Auden C. Grogins, a Democrat who represented Bridgeport in the General Assembly for six years, was nominated by Gov. Dannel P. Malloy.
