West Hartford Man Pleads Guilty to Filing False Tax Returns

A West Hartford man pleaded guilty to charges he fraudulently filed amended tax returns for clients, without their knowledge, and illegally obtained more than $100,000 in refunds from the IRS. Hai T. Le, 44, pleaded guilty to three counts of filing a false claim with the Internal Revenue Service Tuesday in Bridgeport federal court.
