Westport Police: Women Tried To Hide Shoplifted Items Inside Ottoman

Two women were arrested at a Home Goods store in Westport after police said they tried to steal merchandise by hiding it inside an ottoman. Shenice Green, 28, of Bridgeport, and Mierieke Blackwood, 28, of the Bronx, N.Y., were each charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.
