Police: Body pulled from Pequonnock River in Bridgeport

Authorities are investigating after a body was pulled from the Pequonnock River in Bridgeport in front of dozens of people enjoying the weekend weather, including families with children. The Connecticut Post reports that police were alerted to the body at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday at a waterfront park along Knowlton Street.
