Eight people were arrested last week in connection to a months-long federal steroids and oxycodone investigation, including a sergeant and dispatcher with the Newtown Police Department and a supervisor at a state-run juvenile detention facility in Bridgeport, according to authorities. U.S. Attorney Deidre M. Daly said the investigation, named "Operation Juice Box," lasted for almost two months and used physical and electronic surveillance to reveal that members of the eight-person ring were importing illegal steroids from China.
