Police: Man angered by traffic brandishes machete at cop

A Bridgeport man angered in traffic on Interstate-95 early Monday evening picked the wrong driver on whom to vent his frustrations with a machete, police said Tuesday. Stamford police were called by an off-duty New Haven police officer who told police that a man in a red Nissan had just brandished a machete at him during a road rage incident in the southbound lanes of the interstate near Exit 7, according to reports of the incident.
