Bluefish fall to Ford, Ducks

Lew Ford 's three-run homer in the third inning broke a scoreless deadlock and propelled the Long Island Ducks to a 5-2 victory over the Bridgeport Bluefish on Tuesday night at Bethpage Ballpark in Central Islip, N.Y. Jose Morales ' RBI single delivered the fourth run of the inning and Ford added to the lead in the fourth with an RBI double. Ildemaro Vargas' run-scoring single got the Bluefish on the board in the fifth.
