Anthony Alicki earns ECC Pitcher of Week honors

For the second time this season, University of Bridgeport sophomore, right-hander Anthony Alicki from Milford has been selected as the East Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week; this time for his outranking play in games from April 27 through May 3. On Saturday, he simply dominated St, Thomas Aquinas, picking up a complete game, nine inning 1-0 shutout win allowing only five hits with 10 K's and three walks. On Sunday, he picked up the win in relief in the Purple Knights' 10-8 victory over the Spartans that clinched a share of the regular season championship.
