University of Bridgeport sophomore, right-hander Anthony Alicki has been selected as this week's East Coast Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for his outstanding performance in games played from March 20 through April 5. Alicki, a Foran High standout, was dominant in a 4-0 win over Mercy in game one of a doubleheader on Friday. He worked a nine-inning, complete game shutout in which he allowed only three singles, while striking out seven and walking only two.
