Bridgeport man gets a year for ramming ATF car

A driver, seeing law-enforcement vehicles closing in to block his escape, gunned his engine and rammed the rear of one of the cars, sending it into a spin on Bridgeport's Fairfield Avenue and giving him room to escape. Bernard Pettway , 39, of Bridgeport, then headed his heavily damaged Buick onto Interstate 95, leaving pursuing police in the dust.
