Shelton Man Claims Sexual Abuse by Former Priest in Lawsuit

In a lawsuit filed Wednesday, the man claims he was repeatedly sexually assaulted while he served as an altar boy at the former St. Patrick Parish in Bridgeport in the late 1970s and early 1980s. According to records made public, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport, against whom the lawsuit has been filed had been receiving complaints of abuse against Coleman since 1976, the publication reports.
