Former Ferris State goalie C.J. Motte, his college season over, started his pro career successfully Saturday in Binghamton, N.Y. Motte made 29 saves for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in a 4-1 win over the Binghamton Senators at Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. He starred in a 14-save first period, giving Bridgeport time to build a lead, and took a shutout into the third period.
