Woman killed by train while crossing tracks

... the past year. A pedestrian was struck and killed by a New Haven-bound Metro-North train near Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport on Sept. 27. On Sept. 6 incident, a person was fatally struck by a train at the downtown Fairfield station.
