Westport Embezzlement Brings 10-Month Prison Term

A Milford man employed as comptroller for a Westport property management company was sentenced today to 10 months in prison after pleading guilty to federal fraud charges in connection with embezzlement of approximately $108,000, prosecutors said. U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer in Bridgeport ordered David Liptak, 50, to undergo three years of supervised release following his imprisonment.
