Solid 2nd period spurs Sound Tigers to victory

Shaking off an OK first period, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers dominated the start of the second to set up their 4-1 win Friday over the Portland Pirates in Portland, Maine. Colton Gillies and Harry Zolnierczyk scored 98 seconds apart at Cross Insurance Arena, and Kevin Poulin's 34 saves made sure that lead held up.
