Democratic Party members charged with resolving a disputed Bridgeport state Senate nomination were told by one side Tuesday that there is no conflict of interest involved, because no money changed hands. "A conflict is not a relationship," said attorney John King, who represented Bridgeport City Councilman Richard DeJesus, the Democratic nominee for the city's 23rd District Senate seat, before a three-member, dispute-resolution panel consisting of state Democratic Party members.
