Nelson Rivera, 49, of Bridgeport is facing several charges for violent domestic assault.

Police arrested Nelson Rivera, 49, of Bridgeport, after finding a woman identified as his ex-girlfriend trapped in his attic. Officials first responded to the 100 block of Beardsley Street just before 8:30 am to reports of a woman trapped in her room calling for help.
