Gun groups to challenge Grogins' judgeship

Auden Grogins ' candidacy for a Superior Court judgeship has turned into a lightning rod on the controversial issue of gun rights, with a National Rifle Association -backed effort to have her nomination rejected. According to testimony filed in advance of today's hearing on the former Bridgeport lawmaker's nomination, gun enthusiasts -- many using the exact same language -- say her sponsorship of a 2013 firearms bill after the Newtown school massacre should disqualify her from becoming a state judge.
