Gasoline breaks $2 barrier at select pumps

With oil continuing its downward slide, the price of gasoline has broken through a barrier not seen in five years, selling for under $2 a gallon at some Connecticut stations. Gasbuddy.com reported Wednesday that regular gas at City Gas at 289 Huntington Turnpike in Bridgeport is selling for $1.99 a gallon.
