Danbury nightclub owner charged with running $500,000 Ponzi scheme

The owner of a popular Danbury music venue was charged Friday with defrauding more than a dozen investors of nearly $500,000 in what federal authorities described as a Ponzi scheme. Ian Bick, 19, who owns Tuxedo Junction on Ives Street, was arraigned in U.S. District Court in Bridgeport on charges including fraud and money-laundering.
