Bridgeport is known for high taxes, and it may wind up with a state Senator who hasn't paid his. Bridgeport Councilman Richard DeJesus , D-136, endorsed by City Democrats to run for the 23rd District seat vacated by Andres Ayala , is struggling with what city records show is an outstanding tax bill of $139,433.
