A Bridgeport man was arrested Jan. 12 for allegedly writing nearly $1,700 in bad checks to Costco in Milford. He was charged with larceny and issuing bad checks, and was released from police custody on his promise to appear in court Feb. 10. A woman who worked at Target might have thought she could get away with activating store gift cards, and even applying her employee discount to the fraudulent purchases, but she was arrested this week and charged with larceny.
