Cops: Man had appetite for eatery break-ins

A Bridgeport man with at least 20 prior arrests has been charged with multiple break-ins last summer at the Circle Diner and Village Bagels. Ernesto Alicea, 49, of Helen Street, Bridgeport, was served with a warrant at state Superior Court in Bridgeport last Friday and charged with six counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of sixth-degree larceny and one count of fifth-degree larceny.
