Harding coach charged with abandoning child

The head basketball coach for Bridgeport's Harding High School was arrrested on a felony charge after he allegedly left his 4-year-old son home alone while he went to the gym. Charles D. Clemons Jr., 40, was charged with risk of injury to a minor after police said his son was found by neighbors wandering the street in his pajamas complaining that his house was on fire.
