The stretch of U.S. Route 1 in Fairfield County, which runs from Greenwich to Bridgeport, was rated the most dangerous road for pedestrians in Connecticut by the Tri-State Transportation Campaign. The study measured pedestrian fatalities from 2011 through 2013.
