80 animals removed from single Bridgeport home

According to police, 12 cats were removed from the Goddard Avenue home around Feb. 25 when officers conducted a welfare check and discovered a fatality that seemed suspicious. Officials removed the other 68 animals Thursday, taking them to Bridgeport and Fairfield Animal Shelters.
