City Says It Never Pursued Talks With Red Sox Triple A Team

Two weeks after the city signed an agreement with owners of the New Britain Rock Cats to bring the team to Hartford, the mayor of Pawtucket, R.I., said the Red Sox Triple A team, the Pawtucket Red Sox, was sold and is planning to relocate. But Hartford officials say the city was never an option for that team.
