Finance Board Recommends $720,000 Reduction In Education Budget

As the town's budget heads into decision month, the board of finance has recommended a reduction of $720,000 to the board of education's spending plan. The town council will have the final determination in exactly how large the reduction to the school board's $99.97 millon budget is on March 27 when it votes on the spending plan.
