A Bridgeport resident has filed a lawsuit seeking to force his way onto the ballot as the Republican candidate in the special election for the 23rd state Senate district. Quentin Dreher is seeking an injunction to allow him to run for the seat vacated when state Sen. Andres Ayala opted to become the state's commissioner of motor vehicles.
