Fairfield police officers arrested a Bridgeport man on charges of stealing about $2,000 from his grandparents' joint checking account to pay delinquent utility bills for his girlfriend, police said. Andrew Hernandez, 34, of Union Avenue, was arrested on a warrant and charged with stealing his grandmother's debit card and forging five checks in her name, police said.
