Northwest Catholic Collecting Musical Instruments For Students In New Orleans

About 35 students will be traveling to New Orleans at the end of March to learn from local musicians about the roots of American jazz, Luddy said. A decade after Hurricane Katrina many areas are still rebuilding and need all the support they can get, so Luddy said the group wants to, "implement Catholic social teaching in our actions so we can give back to them."
