Massive Fire Consumes Multifamily Houses In Bridgeport

One house has collapsed and a second is just a charred shell as a massive fire spread through at least three multifamily homes Friday afternoon on Hanover Street on the West Side of Bridgeport, fire officials said. The three homes at 356, 358 and 360 Hanover St. were sustaining more damage as firefighters set up in a defensive position to keep the inferno from spreading any farther, fire officials said.
