Bridgeport man killed in cycle crash

State Police said that Michael Cooney, 43, died at the scene when his motorcycle ran into the back of a Jeep on northbound I-95 at about 4:15 p.m. He was thrown from the motorcycle after the collision and suffered a serious head injury, the Hartford Courant reported.
