A very demure-appearing state Rep. Christina Ayala stood at the side of the large arraignment courtroom Thursday morning along with the other criminal defendants, waiting for her name to be called. Ayala, who represents Bridgeport in the 128th District, had been in the courtroom twice before -- first, for a hit-and-run crash she caused, and later for slapping her former boyfriend.
