Northwest Catholic Student Wins $10,000 Raffle Prize

A sophomore from Hartford, McPherson, 15, said every member of her family bought a $20 ticket for Northwest Catholic's first fundraising raffle. Her ticket was picked at the school's Saturday Night Live fundraiser event on Nov. 22. While McPherson and her family weren't at the event, a friend's mother called her mother, who rushed home to give her the news.
