PEDAN TRADED: The New York Islanders traded Bridgeport Sound Tigers defenseman Andrey Pedan to the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday for ECHL centerman Alexandre Mallet and a 2016 third-round draft pick. Pedan, a third-rounder himself in 2011, played six of Bridgeport's 15 games this year, earning three assists and 51 penalty minutes.
