Longtime New Dorp resident Leonard Palmeri, 90, a warm, caring father who was known for telling engaging stories, died Tuesday in Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze. Born in Bridgeport, Conn., Mr. Palmeri moved to Brooklyn as a child.
