Robert Ford, 39, of Bridgeport, was charged with credit card theft and illegal use of a credit card on Oct. 18 at approximately 10:15 a.m. According to police, Ford allegedly stole credit cards from a wallet inside an unlocked Toyota Tacoma parked in Fairfield on Aug. 30 and used them at area car washes, McDonald's and Cumberland Farms.
