Today Republican Rick Torres received the endorsement of Independence Caucus. Independence Caucus is a citizen's movement to take back the government from special interests. Rick received an overwhelming 68% of the vote.
Speaking from his campaign office in Bridgeport Rick said "I am honored to have the endorsement of the Independence Caucus. Their support reinforces my principles for limited Constitutional government and it inspires me to fight even harder against the ever growing federal intrusion into our lives. With their support I am more confident than ever that I will beat Jim Himes."
