Brian Van Kirk's three-run double highlighted a four-run seventh inning as the Camden Riversharks defeated the Bridgeport Bluefish 7-3 Thursday night at Campbell's Field in Camden, N.J. James Simmons led the Bluefish offensively with three hits, including his 20th homer of the season, three runs scored and an RBI. Simmons is the first Bluefish to hit 20 home runs since Prentice Redman and former Bluefish Brock Peterson each hit 21 home runs in 2012.
