A Bridgeport man allegedly stabbed a Fairfield bar bouncer in the face with a broken bottle and tried to evade police by running through backyards and jumping over fences but was ultimately apprehended after he apparently passed out in a backyard , according to the Connecticut Post. Daniel Silva, 30, of Dewey St. in Bridgeport, was arrested on charges of first-degree assault and interfering with an officer in connection with the incident that took place at 1 a.m. Monday morning at Bill's Crossroads bar on Tunxis Hill Road in Fairfield, according to the Post.
