Huge Blaze Consumes Conn. Factory

Evacuations are in place while emergency crews battle a massive blaze at a factory on Seaview Avenue in Bridgeport, and explosions have left nearly 1,500 homes without power. Photos from the scene show thick, black smoke spewing into the air from the factory at 2102 Seaview Avenue, which houses two businesses, according to Bridgeport Public Safety spokesman Bill Kaempffer.
