Huge Blaze Consumes Conn. Factory

A massive blaze at a Bridgeport factory triggered evacuations Thursday night, and explosions left nearly 1,500 homes without power. Photos from the scene show thick, black smoke spewing into the air from the factory at 2102 Seaview Avenue, which houses the J. Waters Roofing Company, according to Bridgeport Public Safety spokesman Bill Kaempffer.
