Harding project moving forward

The issue: Yet another school year is underway and high school students on the eastern side of Bridgeport have returned to the tired environs of Harding high school, which in May passed the 90th anniversary of the laying of its cornerstone. The city intends to build a new state-of-the-art facility on the nearby 78-acre site that since 1915 has housed a manufacturing operation, first by munitions giant Remington Arms.
